(The video isn't quite uploaded yet if your reading this right away just wait a minute or two!)
It seems everybody has an opinion on Potty Training! Start too early and you put too much pressure on the child and cause some sort of permanent harm, too late and toddlers have a fear of toilets and are in diapers till they are 4 or 5! My opinion is start earlier rather than later, but not in infancy like some people do. I will add that 50% of the worlds children are toilet trained by the age of 1 (according to Contemporary Pediatrics magazine).Harrison loves to play catch and basketball , well a 9 1/2 month old version of catch and basketball!
He doesn't realise he has to get the ball through the hoop, as long as it lands in the blue section in the bottom he thinks hes got it figured out!

Harrisons first Mac & Cheese
He loved it!
Looking like a big boy ready to go out.

We had Harrison's 9 month check up today....he did great!
Weight- 19lb 15oz (40%)
Height- 29 3/4 inches (75%)
Head- 45.2cm (50%)
He had 1 shot, and his iron levels tested, and everything was good, although his iron is on the lower side so we need to make sure he is eating his spinach and chicken ravioli!

PediPeds
So now the decision is which shoes? I have no idea what shoes are best for a baby learning to walk.....All I do know is the soles must be flexible as they use their little toes to grip the floor. The shoes at the top are Robeez, these are very soft leather and the whole shoe is flexible. then threre is Pedipeds...see above, these are still flexible but have a more shoe than slipper look, like big boy shoes. Then there is Stride Rite (below) which seem to be the shoes for rough and tumble. Stride Rite have shoes for different stages, Pre-Walker, Walker etc. I don't even know if these are the only 3 good brands?
Stride RiteHarrison has been crawling a little while now.....but I have failed to show any evidence of this! He started doing the "Army Crawl" at the end of January and it has been a slow progression from there.
Here's the video!
And for those of you who need to view this on an iPhone....but you may not get sound.

Where did last year go?
