It seems everybody has an opinion on Potty Training! Start too early and you put too much pressure on the child and cause some sort of permanent harm, too late and toddlers have a fear of toilets and are in diapers till they are 4 or 5! My opinion is start earlier rather than later, but not in infancy like some people do. I will add that 50% of the worlds children are toilet trained by the age of 1 (according to Contemporary Pediatrics magazine).So opinions aside, i bought a potty. As many of you know Harrison has been suffering form a lot of nappy/diaper rash. Because of this we have been having allot of naked bum time! So, if hes going to be naked and pee on the floor why not pee in a potty! So this morning I sat him on his potty for the first time before his bath (he always pees in the bath) and he peed in his potty right away! Now I wont be actually doing what i consider potty training for a little while, we are just getting familiar with the little froggy for now.
