Last day of school!

Allister and Harrison are ready for summer!

Field Trip Time!

Allister went to visit Deer Hollow Farm with his class last week.  He has done this field trip before, and was a little disturbed by all the mud and dirt and poop on the farm! This time it didn't bother him so much, thank goodness!

They class got to watch the super cute cow being milked.

They tasted Goats milk.

 

Learned about Pack Rats and their high nests.

And pet the adorable weeks old baby goats!

And of course the best part, riding on a school bus.

There's a Leprechaun!

One of Harrison's 3rd Grade projects was to make a Leprechaun Trap! Its a really fun project that he totally got into.  After a trip to Michaels for supplies, he created this trap from a shoe box, and he pretty much did it all himself! 

Allister turns 7!

What a fine young boy our little Allister is turning out to be!

Allister decided this year he did not want a big party, so we planned a small outing with friends, and it turned out to be just perfect!

We started the day with gifts, he received a COOL Emoji pillow, a bright yellow Pikachu 2DS XL, and a huge pile of money, which he is currently saving.

After early dismissal from school, we picked up 2 friends, Thaddeus and Landon and off we went!

 The birthday fun started with a trip to Mc Donalds (no matter how hard i tried to persuade him otherwise! I guess that's what happens when you tell them there is no Mcdonalds in CA!) Everyone learned all about the "Pink Slime" from Landon on the way there, and still proceeded to eat all their McNuggets! Friends Ethan and Evan joined us too!

          

Then off we went to Sunnyvale GolfLand for silly crazy golf and fun in the arcade!

We rounded the day off with more bad food and a Zelda Cake!

Harrison's 8th Birthday Party.

So here in Silicon Valley everyone leaves over summer.  

Like EVERYONE!

Canada.  France.  Prague. Tahoe.....the list goes on.

So we held Harrison's party super early before everyone left.

We had a very last minute, but FAB Birthday Party at Golfland.

Last day of School!

We had a fab' year, and we are SO ready for summer!

At Landels they celebrate Kindergarten with a Graduation breakfast, which is super sweet.

Allister had a great time in Kindergarten this year, he learned so much, he is now reading everything!
We are really looking forward to first grade and what it holds for this smart little boy!

Harrison has had an AMAZING year in second grade.  It started off a little rough, we were not sure if Mrs K was going to be a good fit, but she ended up being perfect! Harrison has matured a lot since the beginning of the year, his grades have flourished and are now showing how hard he works.
His grades have gone up and up and up and he is now above grade level in math and reading! We are super proud of him :)

Boo

Allister loves Boo!
Boo is the cutest dog in the world.
Today Boo got a bath- because he was smelly and not soft. Anyone who know Allister will know that a sort toy HAS to be soft!
After his bath he got a nice brush and was tucked up into bed with a blanket and toy. He also got a bed time story read by Allister! He is now reading and getting better every day!
I will miss the days when Allister no longer plays with his soft toys. It's the sweetest thing ❤️

It's need rainy here of late. So this afternoon we made a yummy Batch of cookies!

Allister lost a tooth!

This morning Allister lost his first tooth. It's so bitter sweet! He's not my little baby any more. He was super excited though- especially as daddy told him your first tooth gets you $20 😳 we have a pretty generous tooth fairy here in Silicon Valley!

Jiu Jitsu

The boys started Brazilain Jiu Jitsu.  Its a martial art like wrestling.

It helps get their energy out and the need to fight lol

Halloween 2016

This Halloween the boys had very strong ideas on what they wanted to be!

Harrison was once again Link from Zelda- this boy is slightly obsessed.

Allister wanted to be something scary, and he was for sure! A Zombie Dr aaaarrrrrgghhhhh

He was really scary and the mask was super freaky lol.
