We had a fab' year, and we are SO ready for summer!

Allister had a great time in Kindergarten this year, he learned so much, he is now reading everything!
We are really looking forward to first grade and what it holds for this smart little boy!

Harrison has had an AMAZING year in second grade.  It started off a little rough, we were not sure if Mrs K was going to be a good fit, but she ended up being perfect! Harrison has matured a lot since the beginning of the year, his grades have flourished and are now showing how hard he works.
His grades have gone up and up and up and he is now above grade level in math and reading! We are super proud of him :)

Boo

Allister loves Boo!
Boo is the cutest dog in the world.
Today Boo got a bath- because he was smelly and not soft. Anyone who know Allister will know that a sort toy HAS to be soft!
After his bath he got a nice brush and was tucked up into bed with a blanket and toy. He also got a bed time story read by Allister! He is now reading and getting better every day!
I will miss the days when Allister no longer plays with his soft toys. It's the sweetest thing ❤️

It's need rainy here of late. So this afternoon we made a yummy Batch of cookies!

Allister lost a tooth!

This morning Allister lost his first tooth. It's so bitter sweet! He's not my little baby any more. He was super excited though- especially as daddy told him your first tooth gets you $20 😳 we have a pretty generous tooth fairy here in Silicon Valley!

Jiu Jitsu

The boys started Brazilain Jiu Jitsu.  Its a martial art like wrestling.

It helps get their energy out and the need to fight lol

Halloween 2016

This Halloween the boys had very strong ideas on what they wanted to be!

Harrison was once again Link from Zelda- this boy is slightly obsessed.

Allister wanted to be something scary, and he was for sure! A Zombie Dr aaaarrrrrgghhhhh

He was really scary and the mask was super freaky lol.

Its Back to school!

So I have had lots of people demanding "Bring back the blog!" So here it is.....

Back to School 2015!  

Allister is starting Kindergarten and Harrison is starting 2nd Grade! 

There is s a lot to catch up on after a loooong hiatus off blogging, but we won't worry about that for now.

Allister all ready to go! His first day at school! Day 1 is a minimum day (half day) He has lunch there on his other days, but still finishes a little early at 1:45. His teacher is Mrs Timmins.  Apparently she shouts. haha!

Harrison is all set for 2nd Grade! His best buddies are in the same class this year, much to his relief! 

He has room 18 with MrsK.

I had a few things to get done at school, so I was around to spy on them later in the day!

Here is Allister on his second day, eating lunch for the first time at school.  He was doing just fine!

Today is Friday, and everyone has had a good week.  Allister gives Kindergarten 5 out of 10.  However he doesn't like Mrs.Timmins because she shouts.  Im sure they'll grow to love each other lol

 Harrison has not said much about 2nd grade, but he seems to be doing just fine! Tommy is is best friend and they make a good pair :)

Randoms.

Harrison is really getting into crafts and drawing since starting Kindergarten. Its a fun time :O)

We've been drawing, making paper chain people, painting and making bead jewelry.

 

 

Here is a recent picture, Harrison still likes to draw tadpole people, the large personality shown here is a boy in Harrisons class. We have been having a few problems with this particular boy, so he will remain nameless, but he is having a hard time making the right choices.

I thought this picture was very telling showing how large a life this kid is, and his huge hands ands arms outstretched, thee little faceless figure to the right is Harrison.

Harrison wanted to make Bella in his class a necklace.

Allister decided to join the fun.

The boys are really into games right now, its a lot of fun!

Harrison is doing a great job with learning to read.

Last night he read us a story at bed time!

Hallloween 2013

It was a cold and rainy Halloween this year, but we still had fun, and the boys scored lots of candy!

We carved our pumpkins in the afternoon, Harrison was old enough to do a lot of the work himself this year.

They both drew their Jack-o-lantern faces in paper and I carved them out.

Allister's had a big smiiley face and wobbly eyes.

Harrioson's had a zig zag mouth and triangle features!

this year we planned on being teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, so of course Harrison was a last minute Cowboy!

We managed to rustle up a last minute costume from his closet.

They looked adorable of course :O)

We are still eating the cand a few weeks later.....

After Halloween we went to Target and scored some half price costumes, Captain America and Wolverine!

And then I found some real Cowboy and Woody costumes at the consignment store!

My boys love to play dress up!
