My BIG boy.
Harrison had his 15 month check up today. He's grown so much!
Weight: 26.6 lb 85 percentile
Height: 33 3/4 inches 96 percentile
Head: 47.6cm 60 Percentile
So his weight has finally caught up with his height!
My doctor recommended thinking about a toddler or twin bed already, which I don't really want to do! But he is so tall and he is already putting his foot up on the top rail, so he may be climbing out of it before too long!

Here is the last list of words I came up with that Harrison says.

Pregnancy Update.
We are in the second Trimester! W'hoo!
So, where did the last 3 months go? The second pregnancy flys by.
The morning sickness has finally completely gone, the fatigue is pretty much gone too. I am starting to feel good again, and I am very happy about that. I think Matt is too as I am not as grumpy as I have been (right Matt?) Well I hope he agrees, I feel less grumpy anyhow!
We have 26 weeks to go till baby number 2 arrives, sounds close doesn't it? Baby is now over 3 inches long, and I am convinced I feel her (him?) move sometimes.
I am hoping and praying with every ounce of strength I don't swell like last time, or get the reflux, or any of the bad symptoms! I started to swell at 5 months with Harrison's so I will make the most of the next 8 weeks just in case!
This pregnancy has been very different so far, its funny how you just expect things to be the same? My hair is still falling out, it stopped with Harrison's. I am still having to shave my legs, i didn't have to for weeks at a time with Harrison! And I have been a lot sicker and more tired this first trimester. Maybe that's just because I have a one year old to run around after?
Anyway, that's it for now, I will keep you all posted on the bumps progress!

15 Months Old!
Another month passes.........................here's a little update.
Harrison is growing like a weed! He will shortly be out of 18 month old clothes and into 24 months.
Harrison is growing like a weed! He will shortly be out of 18 month old clothes and into 24 months.
He is learning new words almost every day now, his latest words are words ending in "k". Instead of satying "Boo" for Book, he now says "Gook". He says "Clock
and "Rock". He also says "more" now when he signs, so I guess he will be dropping the sign language soon and just focusing on the words! I am actually beginning to lose track of them now, at last count he was over 30 words.

Balls are still his favorite toy, closely followed by books and anything to do with animals.
We think we may be down to one nap per day now, with all the visitors its just kind of happened otherwise my guests would never get out of the house! I may just stick with it, he is sleeping longer at night, and then 2/3 hours around lunch time.
He is definitely all BOY BOY BOY! He loves to climb and use Mummy as a climbing frame, giggling and climbing all over me. He doesn't realise his own strength!
We have been using time outs over the last month or two with great effect. Mainly when he touches something or climbs on something dangerous and its been so effective that I cant remember the last time out I had to do! He is finally realising the word no and the consequences of doing something he shouldn't.
He still eats pretty much anything you put in front of him, but LOVES grapes and Spaghetti the best. Oh and hot dogs if I let him eat them, but we keep them as an occasional treat.
He is doing better at not running off, although its still a work in progress. He will hold your hand now, but not all the time.
I thinks that's all for now folks! Its been nice to get a chance to update you all, we have been MIA for a few months.

A visit to The Jungle.
We had a visit to Cincinnati this past weekend, and Harrison got to enjoy his first Bengals game!
And what an exciting game it was too......
Harrison had not napped at all that day as we went to celebrate Jeffrey's 2nd birthday at the Newport Aquarium in the morning, then went straight to the game. Together with a cold, he did pretty well.
Days out.

Baby Photos!
Matt and I went to our triple screen scan today, that's where they do an ultrasound and blood test to determine the chances of the baby having a genetic disorder like Downs.
Everything looked ok, and we got some cute baby photos as well.
This baby was moving around like crazy, flipping and turning and waving, so cute!
Here is baby with mouth open, you can see the little nose, ears and chin.
Here is the same photo with notes.
This is the hand and fingers and fore-arm.

Wipeout.
Poor little Harrison took a big tumble yesterday.
He was climbing (Did I mention he is a climber lol?) on the patio chairs on the screened porch, I am trying to teach him to only sit on them as they rock.
Apparently the rocking is fun.
This makes teaching him to sit on them very hard!
So I was sitting at the kitchen table, repeatedly telling Harrison to "Sit on your bottom!". 2 seconds later and the chair tips over and he flies over the top of it smack onto the floor. Needless to say, there was blood and tears and a very scared Mummy and Daddy :-(
Out came the torch, again, to find the source of the blood. A little bloody nose, a big fat lip, some cuddles and Motrin later he is back to his old self. Apart from the little bruise across his nose! His lip went down in an hour or so.
Lesson learned right, don't climb on chairs?
Only a few hours later he was doing the same thing!

Almost there!
This teething business is sloooooow!
I got a torch (or flash light for those of you who think I may be taking a naked flame to my son) and shone it inside Harrison's mouth yesterday and I could see 3 of the 4 one year moles have broken through his gums. Just one to go! His other bottom front side tooth has also broken the gum, so after this bout of teething I think we are done till 2 year molars?
Yippee!
Edited to add- I forgot about the canines....gah!
